In my role, I created visually appealing marketing materials for business-related events, aiming to boost student participation. My work included designing yard signs, flyers, posters, postcards, social media posts, display monitors, and web banners. This comprehensive approach helped maintain a cohesive brand image across various platforms and significantly increased event engagement. I coached a junior designer by providing constructive feedback on their design work, ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines, and guiding them through the process of preparing marketing materials for print.

Every fall and spring semester, UNF Career Services hosts signature career fairs to connect students and alumni with professionals across various fields. These events include the STEM & Construction Career Fair, focusing on science, technology, engineering, math, and construction; the Business Career Fair, presented by Corporate Traffic Logistics, targeting all business majors; and the Health & Human Services Career Fair, which links attendees with opportunities in government, public service, education, health care, and nonprofit industries. These fairs provide invaluable opportunities for internships, part-time, and full-time career opportunities.
When I took my position at Career Services, I was most excited about this event. It offered me the chance to develop a new visual system within the confines of a strict brand guidelines. I aimed to bring a modern corporate flair to the event, knowing that a visually striking look would capture the attention of students on campus. By incorporating my own personality through gradients and diverse colors within UNF's brand, I created distinct identities for each career event. This eye-catching system contributed to the events' success both visually and in terms of participation.
