The project aims to create a luxurious and fashion-forward identity that would disrupt the competitive eyewear landscape. Through the creation of a unique and dynamic narrative, Broadwing distinguishes itself, drawing increased attention and excitement within the industry.
The goal of this identity was to design a symbolic mark that embodies luxurious avant-garde eyewear and to highlight the significance of night life within queer culture. This nocturnal realm served as the vibrant backdrop for diverse LGBTQ+ communities, including drag culture, ballroom, voguing, and club kids, fostering an atmosphere of creativity and acceptance.
The challenge at-hand was how to figure out a way to encapsulate this rich cultural community into a singular powerful emblem. Capturing the essence of the opulence, the vibrant, and the inclusive spirit of the queer community after dark.
